Gracie was a rescue dog I knew from the minute I saw her that she was mine. Gracie is a little curly white Bishon now about 6 years old. About 4 years ago II found out she has cataracts in both eyes. She gets along quite well with only a few limitations but I worry about her future.
Surgery is very expensive and requires a lot of important after care. I cannot decide what to do. Is it always successful? Should I put her through it? I love this little dog and want to do what is best for her. It would be good to hear from others who have had this experience.

I have no idea if it works or not but it is worth a try.

Hi
Blackie had cataracts surgery in his good eye which was successful, that said it couldn’t stop the retina detaching at a later date due to previous abuse, but for the few months he had his sightback it was so worth it, just to see him running again.
The op itself went very well and he was a day patient only, we had to be a bit careful with him for a coupe of days but he really did recover very quickly without any issues.
