Hi there, I am fostering Mr. Billy who has had years of being locked up and little or no dog exposure and suffering from progressive blindness. Has anyone else successfully worked through decreasing dog aggression in a blind dog?
Billy can be aggressively reactive if a dog runs, barks or once he starts to greet them. I have been gently exposing him to dogs passing in the park and he is a bit more accepting but still will revert to attack at times.
Dale says
Does he really attack or is it more showing teeth and some sound. My Gabby will do that to earn dogs off. Most listen. Except our daughter in laws dog is sure she doesn’t mean it. He is a eighty lb puppy and she is a 28 lb cocker. Eventually he gives up.
